Summary
As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our centres by overseeing daily operations, managing vendors, and maintaining facilities. You will play a key role in upholding safety, efficiency, and service excellence while supporting Zenith’s educational objectives.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to take ownership of multiple operational areas with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive operations across multiple centres, ensuring maintenance, safety, and service standards are consistently upheld
- Oversee procurement initiatives for essential equipment and supplies, securing favourable vendor terms and ensuring cost efficiency
- Conduct and supervise regular inspections of facilities, furniture, and equipment to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors for timely completion of renovations, repairs, and facility upgrades
- Serve as a key contact for landlords, MCST (Management Corporation Strata Title), and government agencies on leasing and operational compliance matters
- Liaise with vendors for maintenance, replenishment, rate negotiations, and service level improvements
- Implement and refine operational procedures and systems that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance service delivery
- Monitor facility operations, including security and safety measures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Prepare operational reports for management review, highlighting key performance areas and improvement opportunities
- Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as directed to support organisational goals
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in operations, facilities, or vendor management (experience in education or service industries a plus)
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple sites and stakeholders
- Good knowledge of procurement practices, vendor negotiations, and facility maintenance processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable problem-solver with attention to detail
- Able to work independently while being a strong team player
- Willingness to take ownership of projects and support wider organisational objectives
